at Dr. Pang’s office we have built our own laboratory into our new
facility to provide our patients with the convenience of having their
crowns made for them – the same day. The individually manufactured
ceramic crown will be completed while you wait and fitted the same day,
so you don’t have to come back on another day, get numb for a second
appointment and wear a temporary in the interim. If you need a crown/onlay/inlay
or veneer – please call Dr. Pang’s office to see if you are a candidate
for this new ceramic technology. It is more bio-compatible with your gum
tissue than metals used in porcelain-laminated onto metal crowns that
leave a dark, black line at your gum tissue. The ceramic material is
high-grade, anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant. It allows us to be
extremely precise and save more of the healthy part of your tooth.
Additionally, we do not need to take those gag-inducing impressions. The
whole procedure usually takes between 1 – 2 hours.
